Discount Web Designers was started to meet the demand for low cost web sites and graphics. Our primary clients are people seeking tune ups of existing sites, or creation of small web sites. We also build larger scale web sites, similar to the one pictured on the right.

For this particular site, the client's goal was to build a site that would draw more visitors. After an analysis of the real estate customers, it was clear that people were more interested in finding houses than in finding real estate agents. The site was thus designed to integrate the company's MLS database, so it could be used to search local homes for sale. If users found a home on the site, they would be immediately referred to the agents who own the web site. It thus channeled all home search users to my clients for assistance, in buying or selling the home.

The layout of the site uses rollover buttons with popup menus on some options. Colors were chosen to reflect the tan desert with green golf courses that are so common in Palm Springs. After the site was built, it achieved #1 rank on Yahoo for the targeted search words, and it consistently came up in the top 5 on Goggle.
